A little about me
Hi, I’m Yuna. I’m 22, born and raised in Bern and now living in Zürich. My mum is Swiss and my dad is Japanese, so I grew up between two languages and two ways of seeing the world — Swiss German at the dinner table, Japanese on the phone with my grandparents, and English somewhere in between.
I make digital art and tinker with design. Most of what I share online lives somewhere between anime aesthetics and the softer corners of my everyday life.
Drawing is the thing I keep coming back to. Outside of that, I take a lot of walks with my camera, hike when the weather is kind, and lose hours to small experiments — pastel palettes, weird brushes, the kind of details nobody asked for.
I’m a casual gamer, a slightly embarrassing matcha enthusiast, and the person in the group chat who sends you photos of clouds.
I’m more on the quiet side. It takes me a moment to warm up, but once I do I’m usually the one asking too many questions. I care a lot about the people around me, and I notice small things — the way light falls in a room, when a friend goes quiet, whether the tea is still warm.
I’m almost always on time (sorry, it’s a Swiss-Japanese thing), and I draw little stars in the margins of everything.
Growing up between Switzerland and Japan shaped most of who I am. Raclette nights and sushi nights felt equally normal. I still travel back to Japan when I can — for family, for the food, and for the quiet that I don’t always find here.
